Project Meeting in Trowbridge from 15th to 20th October 2012
Welcome:
It was a very warm welcome to all of us. Some students and Mr Whitewick (head teacher) were waiting at the station with a flag.
He promised to ask the Queen whether she wants to greet us but ....
Nevertheless we were happy to be in Trowbridge. All of us wanted to start our international cooperation.

Arrive Westbury station around 2.00pm. Met by Roger & children. Mini Bus back to Holbrook. 3.00pm Welcome tea & cake in the staffroom. Mini bus to Hotel.
(Nelian) Evening meal for 10 people booked at hotel (Around £15.00 for main course).
Tuesday 16th October
(Nelian) Taxis to school by 9.15am. Coordinators meeting in Office. Lesson observations by other teachers. Order school dinners/ Sandwiches? 3.30pm Taxis back to hotel.

Evening meal booked for 11 people at The Red Admiral @7.00pm (10 + Nelian). (£15.00)

Wednesday 17th October

Visits – Bath / Stonehenge? / Trowbridge?
Roger & Elaine will give you the details when you arrive on Monday. Holbrook school will be paying for the visits.
(Nelian) 7.00pm Meal at Nelian’s house with some staff members. Staff will collect you from your hotel & take you back afterwards.

Taxis to school by 9.15am. Presentations to children & staff?
Order school dinners/sandwiches?
Classroom observations pm.
3.30pm -Taxi back to hotel.
(Victoria) Meal out with Holbrook staff @7.15 at the Lion & Fiddle pub in Hilperton. Nelian will collect you and walk you to the pub.
Friday 19th

Roger will collect you from the hotel in a mini bus & take you to the train station at Westbury for you to catch your train to London.
The Initial Planning Meeting The initial planning meeting was held at Holbrook School. Teachers from Hungary, Slovakia & Germany came to organise the “Hidden Talents” project for September 2012 – June 2014. An application was sent to the British Council in London who approved the project and agreed to sponsor it for Holbrook School. The other countries involved in the project also had their applications approved by their respective authorities.
